Hermès fans! Next Wednesday there are a number of special Hermès bags for auction at Christie’s auction in London.

 

On Wednesday, July 14, Christie’s will auction up to 65 Hermès bags. The collection consists of some very special Hermès handbags from the sixties and from different Birkin, Kelly and pouches in different sizes and materials. Prices start at 800 euros for a pouch and go up to 36,000 euros for a crocodile leather bag.

 

Pat Frost, Christie’s, said he has high expectations of the auction. “There are very few of these bags in the world. This I expect that people well beyond the asking price will provide. Especially because there are some models for a very long waiting list and this is an easy way to get first in line to come, “said Frost.

Christian Dior: adv preview PE 2011
