After his huge initial success at Grimaldi Forum Monaco in the summer of 2007, with 135,000 entries, after a roaming that led to the Hotel de Ville in Paris (75 000 visitors in the summer of 2008) and the Foundation Ekaterina Moscow (65 thousand visitors from October to December 2008), the exhibition “the Grace Kelly Years, Princess of Monaco” will soon step in Rome.
This landmark exhibition will move to the Palazzo Ruspoli, on the initiative of the Foundation that manages Memmo this prestigious cultural venue in the heart of the Eternal City, October 16, 2009 to February 28, 2010. The different levels of this space, visitors dive into the years that shaped the myth of a wonderful woman with an exceptional destiny, Hollywood actress became Princess of Monaco.
This tribute, designed by Frederic Mitterrand, the curator and current French Minister of Culture and Communication, is available through the photographs of the greatest artists (Howell Conant, Cecil Beaton, Irving Penn …), a correspondence with world leaders (Jackie Kennedy, Maria Callas, Alfred Hitchcock, Cary Grant …), number of personal items, his wardrobe, jewelry and other fashion accessories like the famous Kelly Hermès handbag.
